Join our team at Fortior Law (Switzerland) S.A. as a Swiss-qualified Associate based in Geneva. Fortior Law is an international law firm specialising in dispute resolution in the areas of international trade, shipping and finance. Our Swiss and Ukrainian offices are ranked in the Legal 500 for dispute resolution and international trade. We are looking to develop our Swiss-authorised practice, Fortior Law (Switzerland) S.A., to provide Swiss law services to our international client base. The position provides a stimulating work environment and a chance to work on high-profile international cases within a dynamic team.
Location: Geneva, Switzerland
Start Date: Immediate or by arrangement.
Role Overview:
As a Swiss-qualified associate at Fortior Law (Switzerland) S.A., you will handle diverse legal matters, primarily focusing on Swiss corporate, commercial, and employment law, along with applications for interim measures and the enforcement of foreign arbitral awards/court decisions in Switzerland
Main Requirements:
- Swiss Bar Admission: You must be admitted to practice law in a French-speaking Swiss canton, preferably Geneva.
- Fluency in French and English: proficiency in both languages is essential. Candidates who also speak German will be given priority.
- You must have experience in the following fields:
- International arbitration
- Swiss corporate and commercial law;
- Applications for interim measures;
- Enforcement of foreign arbitral awards/court decisions in Switzerland.
- Knowledge of legal databases (LexisNexis UK, Westlaw, etc)

Key Responsibilities:
- Handle legal matters of Swiss corporate, commercial, and employment law.

- Operate autonomously while demonstrating attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Market the practice by contributing to the firm’s publications, attending industry events and promoting the firm’s profile on social media.
