In order to reinforce our Financial Clearing team in Bern we are seeking a
Teamleader of Financial Clearing Operations
to start work immediately or at a later date by agreement.

You will manage Comfone’s Financial Clearing (FC) team and back-office workforces in a way that encourages teamwork, cooperation, and productivity. The main focus is fostering team unity and boosting a FC service’s day-to-day efficiency. It is a customer-facing position, but mainly operate behind-the-scenes, providing support wherever it’s needed. In this senior-level role, you are also expected to:
Communicate effectively with interdepartmental staff, notably with the Director Clearing Services and help Comfone’s FC service meet its goals successfully
Schedule, supervise, delegate tasks, coach and motivate team members
Make sure all processes run as expected and help with improvements
Help improve overall department and organization efficiency and performance, streamlining business functionality
Monitor the RTDR loading process and make sure all data is loaded
Monitor all external interfaces (Data Clearing, FTPs, Banks and others) and organize the invoicing process
Provide direct customer support when necessary
Teamleader of FC Operation is a mission-critical position that demands professional diligence, a solid sense of commitment, strong customer focus and unwavering patience. You tend to be active, hands-on manager, able to effectively oversee and direct multicultural team members, in addition to these skills:
Strong team coordination, organization and significant problem-solving skills
Significant customer service skills and diplomacy to ensure customer satisfaction
Fluent in English and German, other languages are a plus
Several years of experience in Telecom (Mobile Network Operator or Clearing House Service Provider) and knowledge about roaming and Financial Clearing processes are a plus
You are willing to work in Bern, Switzerland
You are a Swiss or EU/EFTA citizen
You hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, operations management, engineering, business management or business administration. Comfone favor operations team leaders with additional degrees.
